Victory Rotimi-williams is the Director of External Affairs at The Psychological Foundry for Human Development Initiative (PFI), where she leads the organisation’s public-facing mission to make psychology accessible, relevant, and transformative in everyday life. In this role, she shapes programmes, campaigns, and advocacy initiatives that extend psychology beyond academic spaces, ensuring it is a tool that communities can engage with and benefit from directly.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Olabisi Onabanjo University, where she first started exploring the connection between reading habits and mental health. Since then, she has built a career that combines psychology, public relations, and communications. Her professional background includes work with mental health organisations as well as a prominent Nigerian publishing house, where she honed her skills in narrative development, project coordination, and audience engagement. This combination of psychological training and communication expertise positions her to advance PFI’s vision with both scientific insight and cultural understanding fluency.
Victory’s work is distinguished by her ability to translate complex psychological ideas into conversations that resonate with diverse audiences. She brings clarity and creativity to initiatives that aim to spark awareness, reduce stigma, and foster meaningful connections around mental health and human development.
Beyond her professional roles, she is deeply curious about how culture, stories, and evolving social realities shape the way mental health is experienced and understood. She is particularly interested in emerging psychological concerns among young people and remains committed to advancing inclusive, compassionate approaches to psychological well-being through dialogue, advocacy, and community engagement.
