Anthony Ojukwu is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and researcher dedicated to redefining neuropsychological care and health equity in Nigeria. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Psychological Foundry for Human Development Initiative (PFI), he leads strategic efforts to bridge the gap between clinical neuroscience, policy, and community accessibility.
With over eight years of clinical practice, Anthony possesses specialised expertise in neuropsychological assessment, trauma-focused interventions, and neuroscientific rehabilitation. His clinical pedigree includes rigorous training at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Yaba, and current doctoral research at the University of Ibadan. His work investigates the cognitive sequelae of stroke and traumatic brain injury, with a distinct focus on the intersection of neuro-rehabilitation and social vulnerability.
Anthony’s leadership extends well beyond Nigeria. He serves as the Assistant Director for the Community Building and Network Expansion team at the Psychological Science Accelerator (PSA), a globally distributed network of psychological science laboratories. Additionally, he serves on the KnowNeuropsychology committee, advocating for didactic accessibility in the field.
Beyond his research, Anthony is a consultant in crisis management and systems innovation. He has designed and facilitated critical interventions on suicide prevention and neurocognitive development for diverse organisations. A proponent of technological integration, he leverages artificial intelligence to advance early detection for Alzheimer’s disease and frequently delivers keynotes on the ethical application of AI in behavioural science. Anthony combines this technical acumen with a commitment to mentorship, actively training the next generation of Nigerian clinicians and ensuring that Nigerian perspectives are central to the global scientific discourse.
