Vivian Agbasoga is the Lead for Monitoring and Evaluation at The Psychological Foundry for Human Development Initiative (PFI). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Imo State University, where she established a solid foundation in understanding human behaviour and mental processes. Over time, her curiosity about data and its transformative potential in mental health practice drew her into cognitive and neuroscience research, with a particular focus on leveraging data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve clinical diagnostics and decision-making.
To deepen her technical expertise, Vivian is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at Coventry University, London. Her studies focus on advanced analytics and machine learning, providing her with the tools to bridge the gap between psychology, technology, and evidence-based practice.
Her leadership journey began with Everything Psych NG (EPNg), where she held several key roles, including Head of Media, Counselling Lead, and ultimately Deputy Director. These experiences sharpened her skills in strategy, leadership, and impact-driven service.
Now at PFI, Vivian oversees Monitoring and Evaluation to develop robust, data-driven systems that not only track outcomes but also tell a compelling, evidence-based story of the organisation’s work. She is dedicated to using data as a tool for accountability, strategic guidance, and long-term sustainability, ensuring that PFI’s programmes deliver meaningful and measurable change.
