Suliat Oladipupo is a graduate of Psychology from the University of Ibadan, a Scholar’s Enclave Fellow, and the Executive Assistant to the Director of Programmes at the Psychological Foundry for Human Development Initiative (PFI). She is currently enrolled in an MSc in Clinical Psychology and is motivated by a genuine interest in understanding people, their experiences, and how psychological support can be structured in ways that can truly help.
Suliat’s interest in people was founded way before university, but her academic journey in Psychology further grew her interest in mental health, development, and applied psychological work. Alongside her studies, she has gained clinical exposure through experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, where she observed mental health care in practice; learned that cases were more than just stories and theories; and gained a deeper appreciation for ethical, compassionate and people-centred approaches. These experiences continue to shape how she understands psychology beyond theory.
In her role in PFI, Suliat works in the directorate of Programmes where she assists with programme planning and execution through administrative coordination, documentation, and day-to-day support to the Director of Programmes. As a Scholar’s Enclave Fellow, she actively engages in learning spaces focused on professional growth and capacity building.
She enjoys creating structure, supporting teams, and contributing to work that connects psychology to real societal needs. Her interests include clinical psychology, adolescent mental health, trauma-informed care, and community-based interventions, and she is intentional about learning through both experience and reflection.
Suliat values growth, empathy, and purposeful work. She enjoys creative expression, meaningful conversations, environments that encourage learning, and trying new things. As she continues her journey of learning and becoming, she is focused on being a grounded, thoughtful clinician and professional – one who contributes with care, clarity and integrity.
